Vegetation Types — Rainforest
This is a closed canopy with low light levels, several tree layers and often dense understorey that includes vines, occational to no eucalypts, and high species diversity.

Rainforests can be divided into many different types including the riparian vegetation of shaded river banks.
Many rainforest areas have been severely logged by the timber-getters of the 19th and 20th centuries and the decimation of places like the Kin Kin Scrub is well documents.
