Identification Notes

LeavesOpposite, thick waxy. 

Flowers from Perennial Flower Stem that arises from the Leaf Axil or Leaf scar.

Landscaping Notes

Roots enjoy restriction - Plant the whole pot. 

Slow, but tough and eventually spectacular. 

Understory creeper, also useful in hanging baskets. 

Likes shady protected situation in well drained soil. 

Avoid pruning old flowering points - this is where new flowers will occur.

Propagation is best from cuttings that strike easily.

Will grow in sun or semi-shade and requires well-drained soils.
