CONTROL METHODS: REMOVAL: Remove every part of the Plant - hand-pull seedlings. In the past this Tree has been widely used in landscaping, but produces black sooty mold. Now seeding freely and infiltrating local bushland. Suggested replacements: Brachychiton acerifolius, Corymbia tesselaris, Angophora leiocarpa, Waterhousia floribunda.
