Identification Notes

Branchlets smooth. Terminal buds finely downy.

LeafSimple, Alternate, oil dots, large horse-shoe Domatia underneath. Reticulum distinct on both surfaces.

 Domatia: Projections in the vein angles of a Leaf. Firm texture, upper surface glossy.

Attractive Tree suitable for large gardens and parks. (Janet Hauser)

 Listed as a replacement for weedy Camphor Laurel
